  • Pipeline Design & Compliance: Oil and gas pipeline design in accordance with AS4041 and AS2885, including mechanical calculations, datasheet production, and procurement of valves, instruments and equipment.
  • Engineering Documentation: Development of P&IDs with drafting and engineering checks to ensure compliance with Australian Standards. Preparation of ITPs for on-site testing and review of technical drawings.
  • Ventilation & Safety Systems: Design of ventilation systems supported by CFD studies; wind load calculations (AS1170.2); hazard level assessments in line with AS4343 for hazardous areas and gas leak dissipation.
  • Site Supervision & Construction: Leadership of site works including P&ID walkdowns, flange record management, joint integrity checks, bolt tensioning, gasket inspections and pipe leak testing. Experience in defect identification and maintenance checks on brownfield projects.
  • Standards Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of AS1210 (pressure equipment), AS3814 (Type B installations), AS2129 (flanges), and AS1554 (welding).
  • Project Management: Hands-on experience assisting and managing projects end-to-end — reviewing client drawings, developing feasible approaches, creating schedules in MS Project, and ensuring procurement and production deadlines are achieved.
  • Risk & Collaboration: Skilled in identifying project risks and collaborating with project and workshop managers to mitigate them. Support to design engineers with documentation and detailing using AutoCAD Advance Steel.
  • Asset Management: Proficient in SAP for asset data management, improving asset visibility and system performance. Experienced in defect analysis of electrical assets, supported by engineering drawing reviews.
